SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN ( CLEAN INDIA CAMPAIGN)

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” (Clean India Campaign) is a nationwide cleanliness and sanitation campaign launched by the Government of India on October 2, 2014. The campaign aims to make India clean and open-defecation free by promoting hygiene, sanitation, and proper waste management practices.

The key objectives of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan include:

  1. Open Defecation Free (ODF) India: The campaign focuses on constructing and promoting the use of toilets to eliminate the practice of open defecation, which can lead to sanitation and health issues.
